<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel album service system for collecting image data of pictures taken during a travel, wherein a traveller's wishes are reflected, and visited spots are easily recognizes by a picture and a text. <P>SOLUTION: The system collects image data of a picture taken with a digital camera 4 during a travel participated in by a plurality of travellers by image data PC3, manages the image data relating them to each place visited, and transmits the data to an editing server 1 through the Internet 6. The editing server 1 selects image data required for a travel album 10 applicable to each traveller from the collected image data, reads out the selected image data and text data corresponding to the visited place from a database 2 as editing materials, and creates travel album data by electronically editing the materials according to a predetermined layout for each visited place.
