摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contract the hardware quantity of a crossbar circuit without deteriorating the performance of data transfer or changing the logic of a processor board. <P>SOLUTION: This crossbar circuit comprises a transmitting and receiving part 12 having four ports 11 for communicably connecting processor boards to each other, a 16-way port instruction part 16 for determining a transmitting port 11 so as to be matched to a communication destination processor board number S1 included in received data, and an 8-way port instruction part 14 for determining a transmitting port 11 so that the port numbers of a communication source processor board and a communication destination processor board are mutually matched based on the communication destination processor number S1 included in the received data and the receiving port number S2 of the data. Further, this circuit comprises a mode setting part 15 for setting either a mode of 16-way configuration or a mode of 8-way configuration, and a selector 16 for outputting the output of either one of both the mode instruction parts 13 and 14 according to the set mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p>
