PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a top stop part of a slide fastener especially the top stop part which is molded simultaneously with fusing by bending synthetic resin monofilament as material into a U-shape and by heating and pressurizing it to the side edge of a fastener tape, to simultaneously secure its fixing strength, and to eliminate prickling feeling and unnatural feeling based on the shape of the top stop part. SOLUTION: As to the slide fastener (1), the abutting surface of the inner surface of a top stop part (4) and the front surface of the fastener tape (2) comprises fused parts (A and B) thermally fused and a non-fused part which is not thermally fused.
