PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit for power line communication where a power circuit in which impedance becomes higher and lower as compared with the frequency component of a transmission signal, and a DC power supply current, respectively, is composed of an inductor having small inductance. SOLUTION: A power circuit 5a in a circuit 3a for power line communication comprises a push-pull emitter follower output circuit 18 having a transistor Q1 of which the collector is connected to a high-voltage side line 15 and the emitter is connected to an output 17 via an inductor L1, and a transistor Q2 in which the collector is connected to a ground line 16 and the emitter is connected to the output 17 via an inductor L2; resistors R3, R4 each generating a reference voltage Vref by dividing a voltage between the high voltage side line 15 and the ground line 16; and a voltage control circuit 20 for generating base voltages in the transistors Q1, Q2 based on the reference voltage Vref and for generating a DC supply voltage Vout according to the reference voltage Vref at the output 17.
