PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water catcher capable of smoothly draining rainwater to the outlet of the bottom wall of the water catcher without leakage of inflow rainwater into the catcher. SOLUTION: The water catcher is opened at the upper side to form a substantially box shape and a drain outlet 10 is formed in the center of the bottom wall 1 and an eaves gutter insertion opening 20 in which the end 3a of the eaves gutter 3 is inserted is formed at the upper position than the bottom wall 1 of a pair of oppositely facing side walls 2a. A guide rib 5 guiding rainwater flowing from the end 3a of the eaves gutter 3 into the bottom wall 1 to the drain outlet 10 is provided and a sheathing board part 6 preventing the inflow rainwater from the end 3a of the eaves gutter 3 into the water pit 4 from crossing over the drain outlet 10 and guiding the rainwater to the outlet 10 is provided.
