PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling screen device which enables the manual opening/closing of a screen and enables the screen to be opened by means of a motor. SOLUTION: The screen 3 is wound by means of a winding shaft 1 wherein a turning force in a winding direction is imparted to a coil spring, and both ends of an operating bar 4, which is attached to the leading end of the screen 3, are movably supported by a pair of guides 5, so that the screen 3 can be opened/closed by means of the operating bar 4. A speed-reducing mechanism 14 for making a winding-shaft driving motor 13 run at a reduced speed is provided, and a clutch 15, which is provided between an output part of the mechanism 14 and the winding shaft 1, is put into an on-state so that the winding shaft 1 can be rotated in the winding direction by the motor 13.
