RESERVATION PROCESSING METHOD AND DISTRIBUTED RESERVATION SYSTEM

There is provided a reservation processing method of a distributed reservation system as follows. The reservation system is arranged in each institution. The reservation system receives individual reservations and makes adjustment so that institutions are not crowded by eliminating duplicate reservations of the same time band by the same visitor of the institution at the visitor side. The visitor can make reservations for a plurality of institutions. In the distributed reservation system, when reservations for a plurality of institutions are input from a visitor agent (100), a reservation request as a resource request profile indicating the institution and its use time band is transmitted to an institution agent (200) of each institution. The institution agent (200) of each institution adjusts reservations by a plurality of visitors according to the resource request profile and the adjustment result is transmitted to the visitor agent (100). The visitor agent (100) checks whether any of the reservation time bands of the adjustment result overlaps with the visiting-desired time band of another institution. If there is any overlap, it is indicated by a display device. An input to eliminate the overlap is received and the reservation adjustment is again performed.
