PURPOSE: An apparatus for informing travel time information of a navigation system is provided to prevent the accident generated at the driving by receiving the travel time information through a voice system. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for informing a travel time information of a navigation system includes a speed sensor(266), an input unit(203), a global positioning system(GPS) module(218), a controller(236) and an amplifier(269). The speed sensor(266) detects the moving speed of the vehicle. The input unit(203) inputs the current position and the destination. The GPS module(218) receives the distance between the current position inputted through the input unit(203) and the destination. The controller(236) calculates the moving time by using the moving distance received through the GPS module(218) and the speed detected through the speed sensor(266). And, the amplifier(269) outputs the travel time information calculated at the controller(236) through sound.
