A composition made by the method wherein a feed mixture of thermoplastic polymer material and glass fibers are provided to an extruder (10). The extruder compresses the feed mixture to form a thermoplastic/glass melt in the presence of a blowing agent. The blowing agent combines with the thermoplastic/glass melt to form closed cell voids in the melt and in the extruded shape.
