PURPOSE: A wire stripper is provided to easily remove coating from the surface of a wire without damages of wire by permitting the cutting blade of the stripper to penetrate into the coating in the same depth. CONSTITUTION: A wire stripper(30) comprises a stripper body including a lower body(31) and an upper body(32) which are assembled or disassembled by a coupling bolt; a plurality of wire holes(37,38) penetrating through the stripper body in such a manner that the wire holes correspond to the size of a wire; a strip cutter(43) having a cutting blade and disposed at an end of a cutting bar(40) protruded forward from a rotating shaft(39) such that the coating of the wire is substantially removed; a shaft groove(45) formed in the vicinity of the lower body and the upper body such that the shaft groove accommodates the rotating shaft of the strip cutter; a movement space(46) formed in the upper body such that the strip cutter moves in case of ingress of the wire; and a stopper mounted on the upper body such that the stopper controls the movement of the strip cutter and the degree of contact between the cutting blade and the coating of the wire.
