PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl structure of a vehicle capable of improving energy absorbing efficiency against a load from above the vehicle without decreasing the rigidity of the vehicle body. SOLUTION: A front vertical wall portion 32c extends from a front end portion of an upper wall portion 32a of a cowl top upper panel 32 of an air box 31. A substantially horizontal rack portion 35 is formed in the front vertical wall portion 32c. The horizontal rack portion 35 has an attachment point 35a where a pivot shaft 6a of a wiper device 6 is inserted to support the wiper device 6. Below the rack portion 35, a V-shaped groove 36 as a vertical wall rigidity varied portion is formed along the vehicle width direction so as to protrude toward the rear side of the vehicle.
