PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument pointer assembling structure for preventing the lower end of a pointer shaft from projecting out of a bottom face of a lower case. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument pointer assembling structure is equipped with a case body comprising an upper case 12 and the lower case 13, and the pointer shaft 19 rotatably supported on the upper and lower cases 12 and 13, respectively, with its upper end part 19A projecting from the upper case 13 to the exterior, and mounted with a pointer 32 at its projecting part. A recessed part 34 is provided on a supported portion of the pointer shaft 19 in a bottom face of the lower case 13. A lower end part 19B of the pointer shaft 19 is made to project as far as the interior of the recessed part 34 while its projecting length is made smaller than the depth of the recessed part 34.
