<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information restricted to a user only to the user in a sales floor of a store. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication system 1 for transmitting interrogation waves from an interrogator 2 to respective responders 3a-3c, 4a-4c, modulating the received interrogation waves with response information in the responders 3a-3c, 4a-4c, and returning the modulated waves as reflected waves, the interrogator 2 specifies users 6a-6c by communication with personal responders 3a-3c.
