METHOD FOR CONFIRMING CARBON NANOTUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and easily determining the existence of a single layer carbon nanotube included in a matrix by using a reactivity of the single layer carbon nanotube in stead of an expensive apparatus. SOLUTION: Initial weight of the matrix including a nanocarbon material is previously measured, and weight of the matrix after heating is measured after the matrix is heated in an ambience including oxygen. The obtained initial weight and weight after heating are compared, and a content ratio of the single layer carbon nanotube is determined from a weight decrease after heating.
