PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device 1 capable of stabilizing its state change-over action. SOLUTION: This clutch device 1 is provided with a cam mechanism. In the cam mechanism, deepest parts of a pair of cam grooves 2d and 5b are formed in such a form as to generate thrust to displace the clutch body 5 to a flange part 2b of a first shaft body 2 at both far and close positions to delay by a prescribed time when the clutch body 5 and the first shaft body 2 are relatively rotated. In the process of approaching the clutch body 5 to the flange part 2b of the first shaft body 2, unstable phenomenon such as repeated inversion of displacement directions of the clutch body 5 in short time can thus be prevented.
