<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a page printer controller capable of attaining high-speed printing even when rotation, offset or scaling from a page image (hereafter referred to as "logical page") which does not require rotation, offset, and scaling to a page image (hereafter referred to as "physical page") matched with paper to be used for practical printing is required. <P>SOLUTION: This invention uses a multiprocessor, bit map development to a page image which does not perform rotation, offset, and scaling is performed by a 1st processor, and the rotation, offset and scaling matched with paper to be used for practical printing from the bit map image is performed by a 2nd processor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
