MANUFACTURING METHOD OF COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE, COLOR FILTER SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate which can suppress a deterioration in display quality of a color display device and to provide its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the color filter substrate 50 comprises a process for forming a light shielding layer 68 on a transparent substrate 14 and a process for forming a color filter layer 62 on the transparent substrate. The process for forming the light shielding layer 68 includes a process for forming an aperture 72 at a position remote by a prescribed distance H from an edge of a second edge 52 side of a region where a third color filter 60 is formed. The process for forming the color filter layer includes a process for sticking a dry film for the third color filter on the transparent substrate while pressing in a first direction 70 after formation of a first color filter 56 and a second color filter 58.
