<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement efficient operations to an operation menu even in the case that driving load changes. <P>SOLUTION: First menu information and second menu information for restricting the number of hierarchies to the first menu information are previously stored in a menu structure alteration/storage part 13. At the selection of a function to be processed by an apparatus mounted to a vehicle, the operation menu comprising menu items each corresponding to functions is displayed on a display device 3 to prompt the selection of each function. A display control apparatus 1 determines the operating ability of a user by an operation input judging part 11 when the menu information is operated by the user in the vehicle. When the display of the operation menu is controlled by a display menu creating part 12, the timing of shifting from operation menu display processing using the first menu information to operation menu display processing using the second menu information is determined on the basis of the operating ability of the user, according to driving load judged by a travel condition judging part 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
