SOLUTION: An RGB signal whose color components are 12 bits is divided into 11 by a quantization circuit 11, and the 4 bits of an integer part are outputted as a quantized value, and the multiplied value of a G quantized value and an offset valueΔ1 by a multiplying means 14 is subtracted from the connected value of R, G quantized values by a subtraction means 15, and the multiplied value of a B quantized value and an offset valueΔ2 by a multiplying means 17 is subtracted from the connected value of the subtracted value and the B quantized value by a subtraction means 18, so that continuous addresses are generated. Then, a color conversion output is obtained by performing an interpolation arithmetic operation based on the color output value of the lookup table corresponding to the continuous addresses and the quantization error.
