PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a video in which original colors and gradations of contents are accurately reproduced including even rendering conditions in a video display device. SOLUTION: The video display system 10 is equipped with a rendering means 14 of adjusting color information included in contents as an object to be displayed on the video display device 22 according to rendering conditions of the contents and a color information adjusting means 16 of adjusting the color information of the contents adjusted by the rendering means 14 according to the characteristics of the video display device 22 so that the contents are displayed in the correct colors on the video display device 22.
