A printing paste containing: a) 5 to 30% by weight of a polyurethane, b) 1 to 20% by weight of an organic fixing agent, c) 0 to 50% by weight of one or more further ingredient(s) and d)water as the remai nder, the sum of the amounts of components (a)+(b)+(c)+(d) being 100%, is suitable for printing textile materials
