PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving a thin film transistor liquid crystal display device is provided to remove the abnormal operation by obtaining a sufficient margin of the time period between the on voltage and the off voltage. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for driving a thin film transistor liquid crystal display device includes an interface circuit(10), an off-voltage generation circuit(20), an on-voltage generation circuit(30) and a gate driving circuit(40). The interface circuit generates a first line inversion signal and generates a second line inversion signal after a predetermined time is passed from the generation of the first line inversion signal. The off voltage generation circuit generates an off-voltage by receiving the first line inversion signal. The voltage generation circuit generates an on-voltage by receiving the second line inversion signal. And, the gate driving circuit outputs the gate voltage by receiving the off voltage and the on voltage.
