PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wall material having satisfactory heat insulation and sound absorption properties by securely sticking cork and MDF each other. SOLUTION: The sound absorption board is formed by applying adhesives on both surfaces where the cork and MDF to be stuck each other or on either one surface, wherein the density of the cork plate is 0.25±0.03 g/cm<SP>3</SP>. The adhesives of a vinyl acetate emulsion type having a resin solid content of 30 to 60% is employed or the adhesives of a rubber-based solvent type, a synthetic rubber-based solvent type, and a synthetic rubber-based latex type having the resin solid content of 25 to 55% are employed.
