摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide photocatalyst particles which sufficiently develop the photocatalytic function even with a practical light source having small light quantity such as a fluorescent lamp, to provide photocatalyst powder and slurry having excellent dispersion stability, to obtain a polymer composition and a coating agent by using the photocatalyst power or the slurry, and a formed body and a structural body showing durability and photocatalytic properties, and to provide a method for manufacturing them. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalyst particles and powder having high photocatalytic activity and weather resistance are obtained by compounding titanium dioxide fine particles and a photocatalytically inert compound under specified conditions. These materials are used to prepare an organic polymer composition, a neutral slurry or a coating agent having high transmittance, and articles each having a surface showing high photocatalytic property, weather resistance and hydrophilicity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
