PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting container for a commodity or the like which can make the commodity more resistant to damage than conventional ones during transportation. SOLUTION: The transporting container has a soft material 1 for mounting and a partitioning material 2, to suspend an object 5 to be transported from the partitioning material 2 into a hanging region 6 inside the container by the soft material 1. This transporting container allows the object such as a fruit to be suspended in the hanging region inside the container by the soft material, so that it can be more resistant to the contact with a relatively hard portion such as the container itself or another object to be transported. The flexible material may be a film with cuts formed and expanded like an approximate hemisphere. Thus constituted, the approximately unshaped soft material for mounting can be expanded into an approximate hemisphere by a relatively simple and inexpensive method. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
