NOVEL TRANSCRIPTIONAL FACTOR, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND USE THEREOF

摘要

A novel imino compound is synthesized by mixing and reacting ascochlorin, its analog or its derivative with a compound having a primary amino group in the presence/absence of a basic catalyst. The novel imino compound thus synthesized is a ligand which activates nuclear receptor superfamily such as retinoid orphan receptor (RXR), peroxiosme proliferator activated receptor (PPAR) and steroid receptor (PXR) and shows an effect of promoting the transcription of a drug-metabolizing enzyme CYP7A1. It has therapeutic effects on diseases such as life style-related diseases, chronic inflammation and cancer.
