PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set and a telephone set system with which presence or absence of possibility of a fault can be discriminated based on the temperature data and humidity data. SOLUTION: The telephone set having a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor has a state discrimination part 2 discriminating it to be an abnormal state when the temperature data taken from the temperature sensor or the humidity data taken from the humidity sensor rapidly change and notice parts 5 and 6 notifying the abnormal state.
