PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser printer and a photoprocessing system in which no blur occur between pixels adjacent in the subscanning direction when the same image data is subjected to main scanning across a plurality of lines. SOLUTION: The laser printer comprises a light source emitting a laser beam, an AOM for modulating the laser beam based on image data stored in a data storage section, and a means for scanning an image forming medium with the modulated laser beam in the main scanning direction and the subscanning direction perpendicular thereto. The scanning means is controlled such that main scanning based on the same first image data of one line is repeated for N lines (N≥2) and main scanning not exposing the image data is performed for at least one line before a transition is made to main scanning of the second image data of next line.
