<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless operating apparatus which prevents excessive voltage caused by surplus power of a solar battery, minimizes voltage fluctuation, can compensate for shortage of power, and can operate a radio transmitter with the solar battery as an operating source. <P>SOLUTION: The keyless operating apparatus is composed of the radio transmitter 26, the solar battery 23, and a constant-voltage circuit 31. The radio transmitter locks/unlocks an opening/closing member such as a vehicle door and a truck lid, by remote control by radio transmission. The solar battery is arranged on an apparatus surface, and functions as the operating power source of the radio transmitter 26, for feeding generated power to the radio transmitter 26. The constant-voltage circuit converts the surplus power generated by the solar battery 23 into constant voltage, and feeds the constant voltage to the radio transmitter 26. The keyless operating apparatus is further comprised of a smoothing capacitor 27 for minimizing the voltage fluctuation of the solar battery 23, and a battery 29 operating as an auxiliary power source of the radio transmitter 26 when sufficient power cannot be fed to the radio transmitter 26 due to small amount of power generation of the solar battery 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
