SELECTION TYPE DUMBBELL USING COMMODITY WEIGHT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selection type dumbbell with a handle equipped between the right and left stacks of nesting weight plates. SOLUTION: Weight plates used for this dumbbell may either be individual weights or a pair of weight plates. Both plates of each stack sides are connected to form a single weight. A user may select a desired number of weight plates from each stack by using a selector to connect the selected plates to the handle to provide an adjustable weight dumbbell. A weight frame with a carrier to which at least one commodity weight may be supplied is included in each weight. The dumbbell may be shipped in a form of a sole weight frame from a manufacturer for the purpose of reduction of transportation cost. When a dumbbell of a sole weight frame without weight is delivered to a user, a dumbbell can be completed by fixing the commodity weight to a carrier on each weight frame. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
