<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a specified page range on a printing document to reduce manhours for a printing operation or the like, in a printing system operated on a basic system such as the Windows system. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system is provided with a printing data control part for controlling transfer of a printing data between a spooler and its peripheral control part, and a page information notifying part for notifying page information to the printing data control part to be set with the page information from the printing data control part. The system prepares a file storing only the printing data of a specified page from an original spool file, based on the page information set in the page information notifying part, and carries out printing by a printer, based on the prepared file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
