METHOD FOR STRAIGHTENING SHAPE OF STEEL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape straightening method by which shape failure of a steel sheet of≤0.1 mm thick is effectively improved and also which has excellent passing property through a manufacturing line. SOLUTION: The shape is straightened by furthermore performing skin pass rolling at the draft of≤0.5% by taking the work rolls at the final stand as the rolls having the surface roughness Ra of≤1.0μm after rolling a steel sheet into the final thickness of≤0.1 mm. The passing property is improved by providing the off-gage part of≥0.1 mm thick in the nose and rear end parts of a coil obtained by winding the steel sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
