PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable closed battery suppressed in the cracking of a gasket even if external force is applied in association with caulking treatment of a battery case or the like leading to improving battery productivity so much, and exerting desired performance for a long period. SOLUTION: A polyetheretherketone resin composition comprising polyetheretherketone and wallastonite fibers is provided. The gasket for the closed battery is provided. The closed battery is such that a power generating element 3 is disposed between the battery case 1 and a plate 2 sealing the opening of the battery case 2, being closed by caulking treatment, via the gasket, of the peripheral rim 11 of the battery case and/or the peripheral rim 21 of the plate 2.
