PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set the rotating speed of a fan motor corresponding to each indoor unit by recognizing the heat exchanging capabilities of the indoor units, even if different from each other. SOLUTION: A control part 20 inquires the heat exchanging capabilities of the indoor units to the individual indoor units (ST1). Received data for the heat exchanging capabilities of the indoor units is stored (ST2). The number n of specified indoor units are determined to be completed (ST3). If they are not completed (ST3-N), the ST1 and the ST2 are repeated. If they are completed (ST3-Y), the rotating speed of the fan motor for the corresponding indoor unit is searched from a table for the rotating speed of the fan motor (ST4). Then, the extracted rotating speed of the fan motor is multiplied by a value for the heat exchanging capability of each indoor unit (ST5). The calculated data is transmitted to the indoor unit (ST6).
