PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the quality of a display image in a display controller including a displaying means which can be put on the head of a user and can provide the display image within a visual field. SOLUTION: The range 65 of a screen 34 included in an image 64 of an overlapping area of image data of a picked-up image 76 obtained by a CCD 26 and a picked-up image 78 obtained by a CCD 28 is specified, a frame image 59 showing the specified range 65 of the screen 34 is created, and frame data of a frame image 60 to be displayed on an LCD 36 and an LCD 38 are created from frame data of the frame image 59. When the frame image 60 is displayed on the LCDs 37 and 38, a frame image 58 is visually recognized on the screen 34 through the LCDs 36 and 38.
