METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING A CONCENTRATION OF LIGANDS IN AN ANALYSED SAMPLE

To determine the concentration of ligands in a sample under study, receptors (4) are immobilized on at least one carrier (3) to give a specific bonding action with the ligands in an apparatus (1). When the sample and the receptors are in contact with each other, a value is measured which represents at least the frequency of ligand/receptor bonds. A value is measured for the distribution of receptors over the carrier surface e.g. using an impedance sensor (12), to be used to determine the concentration of ligands together with bonding frequency. Detectors (11) register emitted luminescence from the materials.
