PURPOSE: A multimedia streaming service method of a 3-generation communication network is provided to supply a deactivate PDP context request signal to a terminal if a streaming service stops, so that the terminal can terminate a PS(Packet Switching) call, and to inform an upper application of corresponding information, thereby coping with the stopped streaming service. CONSTITUTION: An MT(Mobile Terminal)(20) is informed of a network failure, and a TE(Terminal Equipment)(10) informs a user of the network failure. A GGSN(50) cancels a PS call, and supplies a PDP context remove request signal to an SGSN(40). The SGSN(40) supplies a PDP context deactivate request signal to the MT(20). The MT(20) transmits a deactivate PDP context accept signal to the SGSN(40). The SGSN(40) transmits a PDP context remove response signal. The SGSN(40) and the MT(20) cancel a radio access bearer setup. The MT(20) informs the TE(10) of an event showing that the PS call is canceled. The TE(10) informs the user of a streaming service stop, and completes a streaming service. |
