Herein are depicted the method and apparatus for supplying chemical material, and particularly granular agricultural material, from a movable device actuated on the terrain to be treated with the material. A dosing system for dispensing material includes a dosing disc with openings, placed above a rotatory propeller. The disc with openings dose the material from a container, for product, by means of gravity feeding, over the propeller at a proportional speed to the linear speed to which the apparatus is actuated to supply the material at a uniform density over the terrain. The dosing disc is a component of a product container that is removably assembled to the device. The propeller rotates at a constant speed to supply the deposited material at a uniform distance from the apparatus and the position over which is deposited the material over the propeller is adjustable. A clutch allows the user to discontinue the material supply from the device at his/her personal choice, automatically stopping the material supply when the apparatus is actuated in reverse direction.
