<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a forgery detection mark (authentication code) corresponding to an electronic watermark or code pattern relatively easily. <P>SOLUTION: An image data generating device comprises an image input part 1, a feature point extraction part 2, an attached information generation part 3 for an image, an authentication code generation part 4, an image composition part 5, an image data output part 6, a CPU 7, an identification number generation part 10, and a communication part 11. Further, the feature point extraction part 2 extracts a feature point as feature point data from the image data, the authentication code generation part 4 comprises a plurality of authentication code generating means 4a to 4n, and a selected authentication code generating means generates an authentication code by using the feature point data and attached information, and the image composition part 5 puts the image data and authentication code together, the identification number generation part 10 generates a mean identification number corresponding to the identification code generating means having generated the authentication code, and the communication part 11 transmits the image data and mean identification number to an image data editing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
