<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a new added value to merchandise by adding the speech information desired by a consumer thereto as a custom-ordering factor. <P>SOLUTION: By which of a standard speech speaker or a specific speech speaker a speech message is to be uttered is selected (S24) and when the standard speech speaker is selected, the voice quality like whether a male or female is selected (S25). When the specific speech speaker is selected, a desired speaker is selected from a speaker selection menus (S26). Next, the contents of the speech message are assigned (S27). The assignment is performed by any of the assignment by the utterance of the consumer himself or herself (S28), the assignment by key input (S29), or the assignment by selecting the desired contents of the speech message from among the messages prepared beforehand (S30).
