METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TONER PARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner particles by which toner particles having excellent characteristics can easily be obtained in a high yield from toner particles in a wet state synthesized in a water-based dispersion medium in a short time without inducing melt sticking. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing toner particles includes a process of supplying and dispersing toner particles synthesized in a water-based dispersion medium into a hot gas flow so as to continuously dry the particles while blowing the hot gas flow. In this process, particles are dried while at least part of the inner wall of the passage where the toner particles pass and the injection port of the gas flow are cooled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
