<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding mechanism of a copying machine which prevents damage to a photoreceptor due to conveyance of paper and enables formation of a good image. <P>SOLUTION: In the paper feeding mechanism in which paper P, P' is fed by PS rollers 30a, 30b so that an image formed on a photoreceptor 31b is transferred by a transfer roller 31d, the following side PS roller 30b is provided with a moving means to move the contact position of the following side PS roller to the driving side PS roller 30a in the peripheral direction. A position forming a nip region G in which the driving side PS roller and the following side PS roller come in contact with each other is changed in the peripheral direction of the driving side PS roller according to the thickness of paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
