PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of external terminal which can secure waterproofness of an external terminal and realize electric connection with a printed board without soldering a lead wire. SOLUTION: In the structure of external terminal 10, an O ring is fitted to the external terminal 10 and the external terminal 10 is inserted into a through hole 22 of a casing 20. The external terminal 10 is further pressed into the through hole 22 against the reaction of the O ring, and when a groove 13 appears, a clamp 30 is fitted to the groove 13. The external terminal 10 is stably engaged with the casing 20 by the reaction of the O ring. The clamp supported by its own elasticity is stably engaged with the casing 20 between the external terminal 10 and the casing engaging groove 13. One end of the clamp is extended as a contact 34, and a contact end 35 which is a tip of the contact 34 is depressed to a contact pad 41 of the printed board 40 to electrically connect with the printed board 40. Consequently, the number of parts to be used and also the manhour can be reduced and waterproofness can be effectively held because heat for soldering or the like is not applied.
