HOLLOW CHAMBER INTERCEPTING IMPLEMENT FOR HOLLOW STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow chamber intercepting implement for a hollow structure capable of being produced inexpensively and easily even if the shape of the hollow chamber of the hollow structure is variously different. SOLUTION: The hollow chamber intercepting implement 1 is equipped with a pair of holder plates 2a and 2b and the granular foamable base material 3 held between a pair of the holder plates 2a and 2b. Peripheral side wall parts 6a-6d are integrally provided to the opposed surface of the holder plate 2a along the peripheral edge parts of the holder plate and the foamable base material 3 is housed in the holding region 5 formed inside the peripheral side wall part 6a. When the foamable base material 3 is foamed and expanded by external heating to become foam 25, the peripheral side wall parts 6a-6d fall outwardly along thin-walled hinge parts 7 by the foaming pressure of the foam 25.
