PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass cloth excellent in rigidity and laser workability, a prepreg consisting of the glass cloth and a resin, a printed wiring board constituted of the prepreg, and a manufacturing method of the printed wiring board. SOLUTION: The glass cloth employed for a printed wiring board buildup layer, to which laser via work is to be applied, is colored with a coloring agent which absorbs laser light.
