<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball 1 excellent in flying performance and aerodynamical symmetric property. <P>SOLUTION: The surface of the golf ball 1 is partitioned into eight spherical equilateral triangles St and six spherical squares Ss partitioned by partition lines which are formed by projecting the edges of a cubic octahedron inscribing a virtual spherical surface on the virtual spherical surface. In the spherical equilateral triangles St, equilateral triangle dimples A1 are arranged. In the spherical squares Ss, square dimples B1 and B2 are arranged. The dimple patterns in the spherical equilateral triangles St are equal to each other. The dimple patterns in the spherical surface squares Ss are equal to each other.It is possible to assume a twisted cube and to partition the surface into the spherical equilateral triangles St and the spherical surface squares Ss.
