PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush with a holding function and a toothbrush holding tool by which a toothbrush is held and stored sanitarily. SOLUTION: The toothbrush 1 is provided with a magnet 4 at its base end 3 of . The end face 3a of the base end 3 is the adsorbing surface 7 of the magnet 4. The adsorbing surface 7 is a plane orthogonal to the axial direction of the toothbrush 1. By adsorbing the adsorbing surface 7 to a surface to be adsorbed 8 by the magnetic force of the magnet 4, the toothbrush 1 can be held in the state of extending in a direction orthogonal to the surface to be adsorbed 8. The magnet 4 has the magnetic force capable of holding the toothbrush 1 in the state of extending in the direction orthogonal to the surface to be adsorbed 8 installed at any angle.
