<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of a return spring of a disk brake device with a parking brake mechanism without increasing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: In a disk brake device with a parking brake mechanism, a piston movably provided on a brake caliper 15a is driven by the hydraulic pressure, and the piston presses a friction pad against a brake disk to generate the braking power. A lever shaft 22 having a lever 24 connected to an operation cable is rotatably provided on the brake caliper 15a, and the rotation of the lever shaft 22 drives the piston to generate the braking power. A return spring 26 to urge the lever shaft 22 toward the initial position in a non-braking state is formed of a twisted coil spring, the return spring 26 is stored inside the lever shaft 22, and both ends thereof are locked to the brake caliper 15 and the lever shaft 22, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
