PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking pile bitten sufficiently into the ground and difficult to be pulled off by mischief or the like, and also to provide a burying method therefor. SOLUTION: One portion or the whole of the marking pile A is buried into the ground 20, and a extraction preventing member 3 is inserted in the center to be axially movable. The member 3 is bent by an inner face of an advancing hole 5 to be projected sideways from a pile main body 1, by push-out of the member 3 from the advancing hole 5 of the pile main body 1.
