PURPOSE: An airbag module for a driver is provided to reduce the number of parts and manufacturing cost by forcibly coupling a retainer to an inflator by plastic strain. CONSTITUTION: An airbag module for a driver is composed of an airbag cushion(60) inflated by gas, an airbag cover(10) for covering the airbag cushion, a mounting plate coupled to the airbag cover, a retainer(120) fixing the airbag cushion to the mounting plate, and an inflator(140) supplying gas to the airbag cushion and having a flange. The flange and the retainer have a plane surface, and are forcibly coupled to the bottom and top of the mounting plate by plastic strain, respectively. |
